Huge drop in Chinese video websites.
Posted: 1108 days ago in: China Digital Landscape
China daily reports that the number of video websites in China has dropped from 300 to 20. That’s a massive drop; and most of it is due to high costs of maintaining a website along with poor, unappealing content on those sites. It’s gotten to the point where popular sites like Tudou.com are cooperating with Film groups to spice up their content.
